About the role
Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a 13-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals who have experienced a catastrophic illness or injury in relearning or developing the skills to live as independently as possible after leaving the hospital.
- Develop an individualized treatment program for each patient based on an evaluation at time of admission.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team consisting of a physiatrist, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, rehabilitation nurses, a social worker, and a neurophysiologist.
- Provide rehabilitative nursing services such as wound management, bowel and bladder management, tracheostomy management, nutrition management, cardiac teaching, pain management, and support of interdisciplinary treatment modalities.
- Support patients with brain injury and stroke through holistic nursing.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maine.
- Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Willingness to travel to various locations within the United States.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shift: 12 hours, nights.
