About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 26-week assignment starting July 20, 2026 in Portland, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
- Assess patients' respiratory status and develop treatment plans.
- Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Maine.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
- Knowledge of advanced respiratory techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 12-hour shifts and weekends.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Skills
