This position provides respiratory care for pediatric and adult critical care populations, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, tracheostomy care, and airway-clearance therapies. The role requires flexibility, willingness to develop pediatric expertise, and the ability to support varied critical-care patient populations. Job Details Required Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist credential; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; minimum of 1 year of adult critical care experience; competency in oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, metered-dose inhaler treatments, ventilator management, tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway-clearance therapy; willingness to learn pediatric respiratory care; flexibility to support changing department needs. Schedule: Day or night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week. Shift times are 6:00 AM6:00 PM or 6:00 PM6:00 AM. Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: Patient populations may include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, transplant patients, cardiovascular intensive care patients, cystic fibrosis, asthma, heart failure, patients with left ventricular assist devices, neurological conditions, home-ventilator patients, and pediatric patients. Weekend rotation includes four weekend shifts per month, with holiday coverage as needed. Department orientation includes two shifts.
