About the role
48 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts. Evaluate, treat, and manage patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions.
Responsibilities
- Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory support equipment
- Administer respiratory therapies and treatments
- Perform pulmonary assessments and diagnostic testing
- Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust care plans
- Provide emergency respiratory care in critical situations
Requirements
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- BLS certification
- ACLS and PALS certifications may be required based on facility
- Previous critical care or acute care respiratory experience preferred
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty
- BLS certification
- Applicable state licensure and specialty certifications required for the role
