Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,035 per week

Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position located in Hilo, Hawaii. This role involves providing comprehensive respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Job Details

• Location: Hilo, Hawaii
• Schedule: Night Shift (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM), three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours)

Required Qualifications

• California Respiratory Therapy License
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications are required
• Minimum 2 years of experience caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
• Must be able to care for all three populations

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Additional Information

• Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend the employee health appointment on Friday
• The position requires the ability to provide continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support, physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care
• Equipment utilized includes computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, and various ventilators such as PB 980, PB 840, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent

• Vaccinations: Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exemption is required prior to contract start

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
