About the role
A travel Registered Respiratory Therapist position is available in Portland, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to patients in various settings including acute and critical care environments.
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans based on clinical needs.
- Operate advanced medical equipment such as Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- NRP certification for NICURRT required.
Qualifications
- Varying number of beds depending on daily assignments, covering an entire facility with a team of 14-16 RRTs.
- Patient ratios include acute 1:25 and critical 1:8.
- Work 36 hours per week, rotating shifts of 12 hours, including days and nights.
