Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,439 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for an immediate travel position in Jackson, Wyoming. The role involves providing direct patient care in various clinical areas and performing a range of respiratory and cardiology modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function.
• Report malfunctions to the director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize the continuum of care for patients being treated.
• Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds routinely, with patient moving/lifting requiring up to 50 pounds at times.
• Possess specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS, RRT, and ACLS certifications required.
• NRP and PALS certifications may be required depending on the clinical area.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Duration: 13 weeks; 36 hours per week; Shift: 12 hours, rotating.
