Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,395 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a NICU night shift position requiring at least 2 years of NICU RT experience. Start date: Oct 26, 2026; duration: 13 weeks; openings: 1; 36 hours per week; shift: nights, 12‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Respiratory Therapy unit in a NICU‑only setting (no adult patients).
• Night shift: 12‑hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• No on‑call requirements.
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Use Epic EMR.
• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary team managing patient care.
• May be required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving).
• Limited time‑off requests permitted during peak holiday periods.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous NICU RT experience.
• Completion of at least 1 travel contract.
• State license required if applicable.
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract.
• Must have a taxable address outside 50 miles from the facility.
• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may be ineligible for consideration.
