Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,218 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (Pediatric focus) for a 13‑week assignment in Marquette, Michigan. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to the director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support.
• Stand and walk for extended periods; bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient handling may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Possess close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (some references note 2 years).
• Current NBRC‑RRT certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS and/or NRP may be required depending on the assignment.

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
