Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,192 per week

Position Overview

The RRT will provide comprehensive respiratory care services, including ventilator management, patient assessments, respiratory treatments, and collaboration with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services under physician direction for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Auxiliary in intubation procedures and manage ventilator setups.
• Perform patient evaluations, treatments, and diagnostic respiratory procedures.
• Inform patients and caregivers about respiratory care needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to hospital standards.
• Float to adult ICU, intermediate care, and basic intermediate care units as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent RRT experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required.
• Previous ventilator management experience required.
• Must be willing to float within adult ICU/intermediate care areas.
• Must have an active New Jersey Respiratory Care License.
• Required Certifications: NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA).
