Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,192 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week night shift assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, working in a Respiratory Care unit on a 3×12‑hour night schedule (18:00‑06:30) with every other weekend and holiday rotation. The role may require floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles and uses Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy services within a critical care environment.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and order entry.
• May be required to float within skill set or to other sites within 40 miles as needed.
• Adhere to night shift schedule (3×12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week) with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin license in hand prior to start date.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Current critical care experience (or within the last 12 months).
• BLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification preferred.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Night shift: 3×12‑hour shifts (18:00‑06:30) per week.
• Total hours: 36 hrs/wk.
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.
