Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,191 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position in a hospital respiratory services department. The role is based in the Respiratory Services department of a hospital, working nights from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a hospital respiratory care unit.
• Adhere to a 50‑mile radius rule; local candidates will not be considered.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy.
• Active RRT license (if applicable).
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted).
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start.
• NRP certification required for staff caring for neonates.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Shift: Nights, 3×12‑hour shifts (36 hours per week).
• Typical shift hours: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM.
• Start date: July 20, 2026.
• Assignment length: 13 weeks.
