Care Team Solutions is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in Portland, Maine. This position requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and works nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in an emergency room setting.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with respiratory conditions.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of recent experience in emergency room respiratory therapy.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Maine.
• Knowledge of advanced respiratory techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
• Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
