Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,180 per week
Description
Work in the Respiratory Services department of an 854-bed regional referral center and Level II trauma center.
Patient population spans adult, pediatric, and neonatal service lines.
Patient ratios range from 10–25 patients per therapist.
Equipment includes GE R860 adult ventilators, Draeger infant/peds ventilators, Newport HT70 transport ventilator, V60 non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high-flow oxygen devices.
EMR: Cerner
Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Floating required to all critical care units and floors.
At least 4 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule.
Requirements
- Active RRT credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
- Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Must have worked in the specialty within the last 6 months
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- NRP preferred; required if caring for neonatal patients
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Professional reference required (2 references required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
