Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families by applying the clinical process in assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given.
• Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
• 1–2 years minimum acute care experience
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association required)
• Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle a multi-task environment
• Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment

Pay

$1,762 – $1,953 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation; tax-free stipend amount to be determined). Compensation depends on various factors including qualifications and experience.

• Shift: 12 hours, nights

• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
