Schedule

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Certifications as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS)
• No minimum years of experience required
• Valid licensure in the state of Tennessee
• Professional licensure or registration as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pediatric respiratory care
• Familiarity with advanced ventilatory equipment

Responsibilities

• Operating ventilatory equipment
• Performing chest physiotherapy
• Suctioning
• Making oxygen saturation and capnography measurements
• Conducting pulmonary function studies
• Assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy
• Performing airway management including tracheostomy care and placement of endotracheal tubes
• Ensuring accuracy in documentation
• Communicating effectively with the medical team regarding therapy progress and patient response
• Conducting all treatments in accordance with facility policies and guidelines

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
