Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $1,855 per week

About the role

Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) position in Deming, New Mexico. Start date: 10/12/2026; duration: 13 weeks. Provide specialized cardiopulmonary services in a healthcare setting, supporting inpatient and outpatient care. Focus on critical care procedures, assisting physicians with invasive and non‑invasive interventions, and maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.

Responsibilities

• Following approved protocols and departmental policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services.
• Assisting with invasive and non‑invasive procedures.
• Delivering medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintaining airways and ventilator management.
• Arterial line insertion and intubations.
• Performing pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases.

Requirements

• New Mexico RRT/CRT licensure.
• NBRC Registry certification.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience.
• Prior travel experience required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Night shifts (Thursday, Friday, Saturday), 12‑hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
