Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families by the application of the clinical process in assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given.
- Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
- 1–2 years minimum acute care experience
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association required)
- Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle a multi-task environment
- Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment
Pay
$1,640 – $1,807 per week. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Compensation depends on various factors including qualifications and experience.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts (NOC shifts available)
- 13-week contract with possibility of extension
- Start date: ASAP
