Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $1,803 per week

About the role

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Sylvania, Ohio, starting 11/09/2026. The position is a travel/contract role with 36 hours per week, working 12‑hour night shifts (3x12 nights). As a member of the respiratory team, you will develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists, providing quality patient care during the COVID‑19 crisis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommending a treatment plan
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Performing timely and accurate documentation
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Teaching and counseling patients and families

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• At least 2 years of work experience
• Current CPR or BCLS certification
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
• Phenomenal efficiency, attention to detail, strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety
• Compassionate and sensitive approach to patient care
