Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $1,696 per week

Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist position in Columbus, Georgia. 24‑week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function.
• Report equipment malfunctions to the director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize the continuum of care for patients.
• Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Possess close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• NBRC credential (RRT).
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP may be required depending on the assignment.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 24‑week duration.
