Supplemental Health Care is hiring Respiratory Therapists for contract assignments at partnering hospitals in Powell, Tennessee. This is a 13-week travel contract with possibility of extension, starting ASAP. The position involves 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families by applying the clinical process in assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given
• Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
• 1–2 years minimum acute care experience
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle a multi-task environment
• Basic PC skills including Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment

Pay

$1,481 – $1,632 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation; tax-free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week (NOC shifts available).
