Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families by applying the clinical process in assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given
- Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
- 1–2 years minimum acute care experience
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association required)
- Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle a multi-task environment
- Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment
Pay
$1,460 – $1,604 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation; tax-free stipend amount to be determined). Compensation depends on various factors including qualifications and experience. 13-week contract with possibility of extension.
