Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $1,589 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for an immediate opening in Powell, Tennessee. The position is a 13‑week travel assignment requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function and report malfunctions to the director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize the continuum of care for patients.
• Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support.
• Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; moving or lifting patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds at times.
• Possess specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• Additional certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, RRT, CRT, 3 Years (as noted in the posting).

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
