Travel Registered Nurse Tele Job
Overview
A Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Tele) travel assignment in Olathe, KS is available starting August 16, 2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $1,939 to $2,101, with no guaranteed hours. The shift is 3x12-hour Nights.
Responsibilities
- Monitor adult telemetry patients and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to arrhythmias per protocol
- Administer prescribed medications and manage cardiac drips (e.g., heparin, Lasix, Cardizem) per physician orders
- Initiate and monitor Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation as directed; support post-procedure care with TR Band management
- Provide timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record; coordinate with the multidisciplinary team
- Float to other acute care units as needed to meet unit staffing and patient care needs
- Uphold patient safety, infection control, and quality care standards; participate in unit-based huddles and handoffs
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas (KS RN)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience
- Some experience with TR Band use post-procedure and cardiac drips (Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem)
- Ability to work nights and 3x12-hour shifts; capable of floating to all acute care units as needed
Credentialing Prerequisites
- Complete CBC, drug screen, and required lab work within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- EMR experience preferred (Epic)
