Travel Registered Nurse Stepdown Job

Key Highlights

• Weekly pay: $1,829–$1,895 per week
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

• Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)

• Schedule: Every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Maintain telemetry and advanced monitoring equipment; track vital signs and critical metrics.
• Conduct regular assessments, identify subtle changes in patient condition, and initiate necessary interventions.
• Administer complex medications, intravenous therapies, and adjust drip rates as prescribed.
• Care for postoperative, cardiac, ventilator, and neurology patients as required.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document nursing care and patient responses accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• Minimum 2 years RN Stepdown/Progressive Care experience
• Telemetry monitoring experience
• Cerner EMR experience
• Ability to work 7:00 PM–7:30 AM night shifts in a hospital setting
