Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to adult-geriatric patients on a stepdown unit, coordinating with the care team and family as needed. Monitor patient status, including hemodynamics and neurological checks, and titrate cardiac drips per protocol. Administer medications and IV therapies; reassess patient responses and adjust plans of care accordingly. Document care and outcomes in the Epic electronic medical record; communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team. Support patient and family education, including discharge planning and dementia care considerations. Maintain infection control, safety standards, and professional nursing practice in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license; must be uploaded with profile. NH Temporary Health Care Service Agency license/Registration certificate required upfront. BLS (AHA) certification; ACLS (AHA) certification required. 2+ years of Med-Surg experience; cardiac drip experience required; dementia care/management experience required. NIHSS strongly preferred; EPIC experience required. Ability to work on a stepdown unit and manage adult-geriatric populations. Must have own vehicle; local travelers within 50 miles will not be considered. Profile must include permanent address; scheduling requests must be included at submission; block scheduling not permitted. RTO requests up to 5 days are acceptable; Halloween (Oct 31) RTO not approved.
