About the role
This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting, specifically in a short stay unit. The assignment is for 8 weeks, starting on 08/17/2026, with a schedule of 3x12-hour day shifts, approximately 36 hours per week. The weekly pay is $2,254 to $2,342 per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients across age groups (infant through geriatric) in the pre/post-operative and procedural environment, including the diagnostic cath lab when applicable
- Monitor patient status, perform focused assessments, administer medications as ordered, manage equipment, and document care accurately
- Deliver pre- and post-procedure education and discharge planning to patients and families
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, protocol compliance, and efficient patient throughput
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control and safety policies in a fast-paced setting
Requirements
- Current CA RN license
- Nursing degree (ADN or BSN) from an accredited program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pre- and post-operative care in a diagnostic cath lab setting preferred
- Ability to perform in a 12-hour shift pattern and maintain quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to the assignment location and work 36 hours per week on a 3x12-hour day shift schedule

Pay
The weekly pay is $2,254 to $2,342 per week. Please note that pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and confirmed hours will be discussed during the hiring process.
