Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg Telemetry Cardiac Unit

Job Summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical-Surgical / Telemetry position in the Cardiac Unit at a hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL. The position is full-time, contract-based, and lasts for 13 weeks. The successful candidate must have current Telemetry experience and be willing to travel within 50 miles of Tuscaloosa, AL.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific requirements apply)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical experience
• Current Telemetry experience required
• BLS required (ACLS may be required based on facility)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Must reside at least 50 miles away from the hospital to be eligible for this travel position

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and assessments
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
