Travel Registered Nurse Outpatient Job

About the role

This travel assignment is in an outpatient care setting and is represented by CNA; it is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. The start date is 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement nursing care plans, monitor progress, and document care outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor patient responses and ensure safety and comfort
• Communicate with patients and families, provide education as appropriate, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning

Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing to practice in the assignment location (California)
• Ability to work in an outpatient care environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with a CNA-represented team
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for 13 weeks
• Demonstrated clinical judgment and ability to work independently within established standards

Pay

The weekly pay range is $2,316-$2,395 per week. Please note that pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and confirmed hours will be discussed during the hiring process.

Schedule

The shift is 5x8 days. The contract duration is 13 weeks, starting on 08/24/2026.
