Overview
Average Weekly Pay: $2,348 - $2,410
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 4x10 hours (6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
Start Date: 08/10/2026
Housing Options: Shared housing $600/month, based on availability; no family or pets; housing app required
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for the surgical patient, circulating in all specialty areas as needed
- Assist with transitions through the perioperative process, including patient assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation
- Circulate in multiple specialties (Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General, Ophthalmology, Dental); scrubbing experience encouraged
- Maintain sterile technique, infection control standards, and patient safety throughout procedures
- Prepare for potential emergency cases and be ready for short-notice on-call cases
Requirements
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Licenses: Valid, current RN license from the state of residence; licensure from any U.S. state is acceptable; AZ state license not required
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association within six months of hire
- Perioperative credentials: CNOR certification (CCI) within one year of hire; TNCC within two years of hire; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) completed within six months of hire
- Experience: Two years of clinical nursing and/or operating room practical experience
- Ability to work in a multi-specialty OR and participate in on-call coverage as required
