Travel Registered Nurse Nurse Educator Job

Travel - temporary assignment starting 09/06/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week on day shift in a hospital setting.

Pay

Weekly pay range: $2,571–$2,828 per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and instruction for clinical staff, focusing on healthcare education and training programs
• Develop, deliver, and evaluate education using simulation training with mannequins and simulation software
• Serve as a resource to staff and collaborate with department managers and clinical nurse coordinators to identify educational opportunities
• Partner with Quality Management to promote continuous improvement and support required education for applicable programs
• Write measurable learning objectives and assess participant learning; adjust programs as needed
• Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate empathy, teamwork, and professional communication in daily activities

Requirements

• Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing; Master of Science in Nursing strongly preferred
• Licenses/certifications/registrations: Current Oregon RN license; Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR, CNOR, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years hospital nursing experience, with at least 3 years in the OR
• Skills: Computer proficiency (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel); strong written and verbal communication; ability to develop educational objectives; typing speed at least 45 WPM; familiarity with electronic health record systems is helpful
• Other: Ability to work in a hospital setting, maintain confidentiality, and support quality improvement initiatives; prior teaching or curriculum development experience and experience with simulation are preferred
