Travel Registered Nurse First Assist Job

Responsibilities

• Provide RN First Assistant support for ambulatory/outpatient surgical cases under supervision of a surgeon
• Scrub and circulate, maintain sterile technique, and assist with instrument handling, tissue handling, exposure, and wound closure as needed
• Position and drape patients, support intraoperative patient safety, and assist anesthesia teams as appropriate
• Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation, track counts, and assist with specimen handling and labeling
• Float to the main operating room as needed to support surgical teams and maintain patient flow

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN license (in hand; conditional license accepted)
• CNOR certification; ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an RN First Assistant (RNFA) in an ambulatory/outpatient surgical setting
• Ambulatory/outpatient surgical setting experience preferred
• Covid-19 vaccination with booster required; no exemptions
• Ability to work in an ambulatory/outpatient surgical setting and float to the main OR as needed

About the Role

The role includes float to the main operating room as needed.

Pay

Weekly pay: $2,403–$2,513 per week

Schedule

Shift: 3x12 days (7:00 AM–3:30 PM)
