About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN for a position in Long Term Acute Care PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care in the preoperative and post-anesthesia care unit settings.
- Provide clinical support to patients undergoing anesthesia procedures.
- Monitor patient conditions and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Wisconsin.
- Experience in long-term acute care or post-anesthesia care units preferred.
- Knowledge of anesthesia protocols and emergency response procedures.
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- Comprehensive understanding of patient care documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
Skills

- Proficiency in using hospital information systems.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
