About the Role
Work setting: hospital emergency department.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of acutely ill or injured patients
- Perform ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and implement treatment plans under physician direction
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to deliver timely, evidence-based care in a fast-paced ED
- Document all care in the electronic health record with accuracy and compliance to policies and safety standards
- Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and arrange referrals as appropriate
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and adhere to regulatory and quality standards
Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license
- Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NRP
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity ED
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital ED setting
Pay
Weekly pay range of $1,715–$1,827 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
Schedule
3x12-hour night shifts.
