Travel RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - $2,097 per week

Job Summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian for a 13 week travel assignment in Silver Spring, MD. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.

Essential Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a registered dietitian
• Valid Dietitian license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

Job Functions

• Evaluate appropriateness of diet order for diagnosis and recommend diet order changes as indicated
• Instruct patients and patient families on dietary principles, restrictions, and practical strategies to achieve health goals per physician diet order
• Conduct patient visitations including screening for nutrition concerns relating to malnutrition, tube feeding, TPN, and special diets related to disease
• Develop personalized nutrition plans and implement interventions based on knowledge of the patient's current health
• Monitor the effectiveness of nutrition plans, adjusting as needed to improve outcomes
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to include physicians, nurses, and aides
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice for Registered Dietitians

• Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
• To work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
• To work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel
• To contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
• Sensory - Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate
