Travel RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - $2,011 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian for a 13 week travel assignment in Houston, TX. Requirements
- One year of recent experience as a registered dietitian
- Valid Dietitian license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Essential Work Functions
- Evaluate appropriateness of diet order for diagnosis and recommend diet order changes as indicated
- Instruct patients and patient families on dietary principles, restrictions, and practical strategies to achieve health goals per physician diet order
- Conduct patient visitations including screening for nutrition concerns relating to malnutrition, tube feeding, TPN, and special diets related to disease
- Develop personalized nutrition plans and implement interventions based on knowledge of the patient's current health
- Monitor the effectiveness of nutrition plans, adjusting as needed to improve outcomes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to include physicians, nurses, and aides
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice for Registered Dietitians

- Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
