Travel Rapid Response Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $2,704 per week

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 6-week assignment starting immediately in Sanford, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain the procedure to them.
• Accurately administer radioactive pharmaceuticals and monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Record patient data accurately and maintain accurate patient records.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Florida.
• Experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
• Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist exam.
