About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 6-week assignment starting immediately in Sanford, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain the procedure to them.
- Accurately administer radioactive pharmaceuticals and monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
- Record patient data accurately and maintain accurate patient records.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Florida.
- Experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist exam.
