Job Summary
Radiology Technologist position available in Edwards, Colorado. This role involves performing all radiographic examinations in accordance with facility protocols, assisting radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures, and operating advanced imaging equipment such as large C-arm and O-arm systems. Job Details
- Aid radiologists with all fluoroscopic procedures and operate large C-arm and O-arm equipment under the supervision of the surgeon.
- Identify each patient and review exam orders to ensure consistency with clinical diagnosis, verifying demographic information including physician's name and signature, patients name, and date.
- Maintain constructive collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, co-workers, and other members of the healthcare team to promote continuity of care.
- Follow all established department policies and procedures, including confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, environmental standards, radiation protection, infection control, and universal precautions.
- Maintain proficiency and effective use of the facility's Health Information System (HIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for accurate patient documentation.
- Monitor supply inventory and coordinate with staff for replenishment to ensure exam rooms and dressing areas are well-stocked and organized.
- Model the principles of a Just Culture and organizational values.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- HIPAA compliance is required.

Requirements
- ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of one year of radiology experience (preferred but not mandatory)

- Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
