About the role

This position involves independently performing diagnostic radiography procedures utilizing complex imaging equipment, adhering to established protocols, and demonstrating professional interaction with patients and co-workers. The role requires applying independent judgment, operating advanced imaging systems, and ensuring accurate documentation and coding of procedures.

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures at multiple locations, utilizing complex equipment, administering contrast agents per physician orders, and ensuring all patient data is accurately documented and charges are properly entered. Demonstrates strong patient interaction skills, effective communication, and adherence to universal protocol for patient identification and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform diagnostic radiography procedures using complex imaging equipment
  • Adhere to established protocols and apply independent judgment
  • Operate advanced imaging systems and ensure accurate documentation and coding of procedures
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures at multiple offsite locations
  • Administer contrast agents as ordered by physicians
  • Ensure all patient data is accurately documented and charges are properly entered
  • Demonstrate professional interaction with patients and co-workers
  • Follow universal protocol for patient identification and safety

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verified completion of such a program with a scheduled graduation date
  • Two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • ARRT Certificate
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTCB)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73 certifications
  • State License for Pennsylvania

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience caring for patients of all ages
  • Experience working independently at offsite locations
  • High volume orthopedic X-ray case experience
  • Comfortable working in large-volume outpatient settings

Schedule

  • Start Date: 08/17/2026
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week minimum
  • 8-hour day shifts
