About the role
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a hospital-based radiology unit in southeast Wisconsin, with at least 1 year of experience and proficiency in chest/long bone X-rays, C-arm, and portable imaging.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 60-bed, Level 3 Trauma Center located outside of Kenosha, WI
- Inpatient, outpatient, ED, and pediatric patient population, with a primarily adult census
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Procedures include chest X-rays, long bone X-rays, portable imaging, C-arm, surgical cases, and limited fluoroscopy
- Equipment includes Canon portables, GE fluoroscopy unit, OEC C-arms, and Dell/Canon plate diagnostic rooms
- EMR: Epic; PACS: McKesson (preferred); Pyxis for medication dispensing
- Shifts are 10 hours, evenings, from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Thursday (40 hours/week)
- Schedule rotates 7 days on, 7 days off; work week runs Thursday through Wednesday
- May float throughout the hospital for portable imaging, including the OR and ED
- Requires a minimum 1 year of core radiology experience, with most recent experience within the last year
- Requires current BLS and ARRT certification
- Requires Wisconsin state license if applicable
- Requires proficiency in chest X-rays, long bone X-rays, portable imaging, C-arm, surgical patient imaging, and limited fluoroscopy
- Requires Epic EMR experience; McKesson PACS experience preferred
- Requires ability to work with inpatient, outpatient, ED, and pediatric patient populations
- Requires a 10-hour evening shift from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Thursday (40 hours/week)
- Requires a 1-night on-call during the week off
- Requires holiday coverage if the holiday falls within your scheduled 7 days on
- Requires a minimum 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the last year
- Requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Requires a valid Social Security number
- Requires a valid date of birth
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of core radiology experience, with most recent experience within the last year
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- Wisconsin state license required if applicable
- Proficiency in chest X-rays, long bone X-rays, portable imaging, C-arm, surgical patient imaging, and limited fluoroscopy
- Epic EMR experience; McKesson PACS experience preferred
- Ability to work with inpatient, outpatient, ED, and pediatric patient populations
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
Skills

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
