Travel Radiology Technologist position in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Assignment starts 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week on day shifts (8AM - 5PM, Monday-Friday).
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures.
- Support other imaging technologists and facilitate smooth patient flow.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts or campuses as needed.
- Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
- Adhere to imaging competencies outlined by management and align behavior with organizational mission, values, and culture.
- Promote staff growth, development, and employee engagement.
- Ensure exceptional physician satisfaction by assisting radiologists and referring physicians.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adapt care methods to accommodate unique patient needs (physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific).
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care as required by State, Federal, and regulatory agencies.
- Perform examinations/procedures to assist in patient throughput within the scope of licensure and competencies.
- Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS; follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser.
- Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions to management or Biomedical personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in a hospital preferred.
- Basic computer experience required.
- ARRT Radiography (R) certification required.
- State licensure required:
- New Mexico: RRT by MIRTP NMED
- Texas: MRT by TMB
- Louisiana: LRT (R) or (F) by LSRTBE
- BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association required.
- Blocked scheduling accommodated; no floating requirement.
