Travel Radiology Technologist position in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Assignment starts 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week on day shifts (8AM - 5PM, Monday-Friday).

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures.
  • Support other imaging technologists and facilitate smooth patient flow.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts or campuses as needed.
  • Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
  • Adhere to imaging competencies outlined by management and align behavior with organizational mission, values, and culture.
  • Promote staff growth, development, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure exceptional physician satisfaction by assisting radiologists and referring physicians.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adapt care methods to accommodate unique patient needs (physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific).
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care as required by State, Federal, and regulatory agencies.
  • Perform examinations/procedures to assist in patient throughput within the scope of licensure and competencies.
  • Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS; follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser.
  • Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions to management or Biomedical personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in a hospital preferred.
  • Basic computer experience required.
  • ARRT Radiography (R) certification required.
  • State licensure required:
    • New Mexico: RRT by MIRTP NMED
    • Texas: MRT by TMB
    • Louisiana: LRT (R) or (F) by LSRTBE
  • BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association required.
  • Blocked scheduling accommodated; no floating requirement.
