Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,900 per week

Travel Radiology Technologist position in Detroit, Michigan. Start date ASAP for a 13-week assignment, 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate fixed and mobile radiology units in hospital departments including IPD, OR, and ER.
• Follow proper radiation safety precautions to minimize exposure.
• Work with high-voltage equipment and potentially contagious patients.
• Occasionally lift and/or move equipment and patients exceeding 10 lbs.
• Adhere to core customer service responsibilities and standards as outlined in the HFHS Customer Service Policy, including communication, ownership, understanding, motivation, sensitivity, excellence, teamwork, and respect.
• Practice customer service skills through ongoing training and in-services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Maintain required hours of continued education.
• Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 6 months of hire if eligible).
• Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).

Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
