Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,800 per week

About the role

12-week travel position starting as soon as possible. 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts. Weekend call is included in requirements. Call rotation: 5 weekdays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks. Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed.

Schedule

• If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall, the traveler works both. If three major holidays fall, the traveler works two of them.
• Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO) per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• No holiday RTO if 1–2 holidays fall during assignment; 1 holiday RTO may be considered if 3 holidays fall
• Orientation hours are non-billable and vary by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment, 10 hours for a 10-week assignment)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience; unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Travel experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R or CCI RCS
• Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant, start date may be pushed back 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• All compliance documents due Tuesday prior to start
• Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler
• If a traveler cancels or receives a facility DNR, they must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying

Clinical Screening

Candidate will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine fit. If the candidate passes clinical review and meets Piedmont guidelines, they will be sent to the manager for a final decision. Clinical screens are conducted on a case-by-case basis.
