Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,558 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and is available for immediate placement.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Provide reassurance and support to patients as needed
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physicians to review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) national certification
• State-specific licensing (if required)
• A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• BLS, ARRT (R), 2 years of experience
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
