Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,486 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Duluth, Minnesota. This role requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and operates on a day shift. The position is a travel opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Provide reassurance and support to patients
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State-specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• BLS certification

• 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
