Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,422 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Altoona, Pennsylvania. The position requires 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and a rotation schedule. The ideal candidate must have 1 year of experience and hold ARRT (R) certification, BLS, and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging areas
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification
• State-specific licensing (when required)
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications
