About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality X-Ray Tech for a travel contract with one of our top healthcare clients in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. This position involves 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift.
Responsibilities
- Obtain useful diagnostic details to assist doctors in determining further treatment for patients.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
- Produce x-ray films of parts of the human body for diagnosing medical problems such as cancer or fractures.
- Instruct patients to assume appropriate positions for accurate imaging.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations, as well as accepted practice guidelines.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain an environment of excellence focused on timely, compassionate, and quality patient care.
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Two years of X-Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
