About the role
TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Elyria, Ohio. The position is 40 hours per week, 8‑hour evening shifts. The Rad Tech will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, ensure image accuracy for physician interpretation, and prepare and care for patients undergoing radiologic procedures. One year of experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
- Follow physician orders regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
- Correctly position the patient and adjust imaging equipment to the appropriate position
- Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to self and patient by taking appropriate protection precautions
- Calibrate imaging equipment
- Prepare results for physician review
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (note: one section specifies 2 years)
- BLS certification
- ARRT (R) National Certification
- State‑specific licensing when required
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Pay
Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
