Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,077 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Starkville, Mississippi. This position offers 40 hours per week with an 8-hour day shift and is classified as a travel role starting on 09/23/2026.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
• Follow orders from physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging.
• Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the appropriate position.
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to yourself and the patient by taking appropriate protection precautions.
• Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
• BLS and ARRT (R) National Certification.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
