Travel Radiology Technologist - $1,987 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Tupelo, Mississippi. This role requires 36 hours per week, 9-hour shifts, and operates on a day shift. The position is open to those with 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State-specific licensing when required
• BLS certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)
• BLS
• 2 years of experience

• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment
• Ability to work with patients and provide reassurance

Pay
